Waterway Nights Returns to Waterway Square in June

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Enjoy free summer fun at Waterway Square in The Woodlands with the return of Waterway Nights, live music and strolling entertainment every Saturday in June from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, the series features a variety of live music acts with the best of Cajun & Zydeco, Country, Soft Rock & Acoustic, Jazz, Pop and Top 40 hits. Various strolling entertainment, including jugglers, clowns, magicians and more will accompany each night’s live music performance.

The “Waterway Nights” entertainment schedule is as follows:

June 1st:

The cajun and zydeco sounds of Dr. Zog
Strolling entertainment: Juggler

June 8th:

Boot-tappin’ country tunes by Daryl Bullinger
Strolling entertainment: Stilt Walker

June 15th:

The swingin’, smooth sounds of Jazz Avenue
Strolling entertainment: Clown

June 22nd:

Lively pop and top-40 jams by the Level One Band
Strolling entertainment: Magician

June 29th:

Clayton DeGuerre’s soft rock and acoustic sounds
Strolling entertainment: Unicyclist

Waterway Nights Returns to Waterway Square in June_1

Grab a bite at one of the restaurants surrounding Waterway Square or pack a picnic to enjoy while listening to some of your favorite local bands. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs and coolers.

“Waterway Nights continues to be a favorite weekend activity among residents and visitors to The Woodlands,” says Nick Wolda, president of The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau. “People of all ages gather to enjoy a fun-filled summer evening listening to the sounds of local and regional favorites.”

Paid parking for Waterway Nights is available in the Waterway Square Parking Garage, between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court, in 24 Waterway Parking Garage at the corner of Fountain Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive, and on the surface lot at the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch place. Prices vary by lot.

Limited, free curbside parking is available along Lake Robbins Drive, Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square Place, and Timberloch Place. Paid covered parking is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage (corner of Fountain Plaza & Lake Robbins Drive), the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and the parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place.

Waterway Nights is free and open to the public, thanks to The Woodlands Development Company, Munday Chevrolet, Kyle Sherburne – State Farm Insurance, Xfinity, Kroger and Gigi’s Cupcakes.
