Wells Fargo Presents Memorial Day FireworksTHE WOODLANDS, TX – Enjoy two nights of dazzling fireworks displays presented by Wells Fargo at “Memorial Day in The Woodlands,” a free, family-friendly event produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau complete with live music, vendors, activities and more, May 25 – 26, 2013 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Waterway Square.
This is Wells Fargo’s third year as a presenting sponsor during the Memorial Day celebration. Wells Fargo operates 9 branches throughout The Woodlands area.

“Wells Fargo is proud to be afforded the opportunity to support The Woodlands Community and honor our American soldiers by sponsoring the Memorial Day fireworks,” said Doralyn Ware, Senior Vice President, District Manager The Woodlands, of Wells Fargo in The Woodlands. “The last two years have been fantastic, and we look forward to another great success for 2013.”

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the Country & Variety sounds of Leannasaurus Rex on Saturday, May 25 from 6 p.m. – 7:20 pm followed by the classic rock sounds of The Rock-a-Fellas from 7:40 p.m. – 9 p.m.

The fun continues on Sunday, May 26 with the country/alternative band Josh Fuller and Dirt & Diesel taking the stage from 6 p.m. – 7:20 pm. Nobody’s Fool with Kelley Peters closes out the night playing a variety of sounds from 7:40 p.m. – 9 p.m.

At the close of both evenings, the night sky will light up with a dazzling fireworks display, weather permitting.

Memorial Day in The Woodlands is free and open to the public thanks to Wells Fargo, The Woodlands Development Company, Kyle Sherburne – State Farm Insurance, The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, Munday Chevrolet, Wrights Printing, Bud Light, Xfinity, Gigi’s Cupcakes and Kroger.

Paid covered parking is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage (corner of Fountain Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive), the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and the parking lots at the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place and the corner of Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive.

Additional parking is available in the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and curbside along Lake Robbins Drive, Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square Place and Timberloch Place.

Located along Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square is a one-acre public plaza with unique water features and green spaces that serve as the “centerpiece” of The Woodlands Town Center.
