Discount Offers and Special Promotions Featured at The Woodlands Ice Rink

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Ice Rink once again is offering money-saving weekday discounts and special promotions ranging from buy-one-get-one-free days to $3 discounts to residents of The Woodlands.

Located at the northeast corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines Drive, The Ice Rink is open daily through Monday, January 20, 2014 with operating hours Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday, 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.; and Sunday, noon – 7 p.m.  The Ice Rink will also be open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.

The daily promotions are:

  • Monday – Bring a Friend Day. Simply purchase one full-price admission with skate rental and get the next one free.
  • Tuesdays – Resident’s Day. Residents of The Woodlands can save $3 off the weekday price of an adult admission ticket.
  • Wednesday – Dollar Off Day. Save $1 off the weekday price adult admission.
  • Thursday – Hot Cocoa Day. Skaters and non-skaters can receive one complimentary cup of Hot Cocoa at The Ice Rink indoor concession area.
  • Friday – Rock n’ Skate Night. Skaters can skate to great rockin’ music and a light show from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Families can visit Xfinity at 1501 Lake Robbins Drive and pick up a Buy One, Get One Free coupon (limit one per family) for a free admission and skate rental with a paid admission and skate rental valid any day of the week.  The Woodlands Ice Rink Frequent Skater Card, good for a free skate session for every four paid skate sessions, also is available at The Ice Rink admission counter.

Special discount offers and promotional nights are not offered on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day, or in conjunction with any other offers.

Weekday two-hour skate sessions are $9.50 for adults and $5 for children 5 and under.  Weekend sessions are $10.50 for adults and $6 for children 5 and under. All prices include a $2.50 skate rental.  Helmet and walker rentals also are available.

A separate kid’s ice rink also will be available for children five and under. Also, Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland is home to a fabulous array of illuminated holiday scenes and storybook displays, enhanced this year with the holiday carolers, surrounding The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center. Visitors can stroll free through a fantasyland of magical lighted toy soldiers, elves, doves, musical angels and snowmen from dusk until 11 p.m.
