THE WOODLANDS, TX – To support those in need in the community this holiday season, the Woodforest Charitable Foundation donated $4,000 to Interfaith of The Woodland’s Holiday GIVING Program.   Through the donation, Woodforest Charitable Foundation adopted more than 50 seniors, hosted a holiday party at the Harvestwood apartment complex, and will provide a Cornish hen to all seniors currently enrolled in Interfaith’s monthly grocery delivery.

“The Woodforest Charitable Foundation has been a generous donor to Interfaith of The Woodlands for many years, and we are truly grateful for their support” shared Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

More than 450 local seniors will benefit from Interfaith’s Holiday GIVING Program.  “Woodforest employees pride themselves on giving back to the community through volunteer work and monetary contributions,” said Kim Marling, Executive Director & Vice President of Woodforest Charitable Foundation. “Through this donation, we hope to lighten the load for those who may be struggling and seniors at risk of hunger or being alone during this special time of year.”
