THE WOODLANDS, TX  – The Annual Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland Holiday Food Drive was another rousing success with 1,357 pounds of canned goods and other non-perishable items collected for Interfaith of The Woodlands. “We are so very thankful to our community partners like Donoho’s Jewellers for helping us make a difference in our community. The amount of food collected for the Interfaith food pantry was really incredible,” said Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. Items collected during the annual holiday food drive, from soups and pastas to snack foods and protein items, far exceeded the previous year’s totals with most of the donations collected at The Woodlands Ice Rink. Those who donated 10 or more items received a coupon for one free admission to the Ice Rink. A $2 off Ice Rink coupon was presented to those donating fewer than 10 items. In the last four years, the Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland Holiday Food Drive has collected thousands of pounds of nonperishable items for the Interfaith Food Pantry to help children and families in need during the holiday season and into the New Year. “We are very grateful to all who have supported our holiday food drive not only this year but in years past.  It has been a great experience partnering with The Woodlands CVB and Interfaith,” says Richard Van der Dys, Store Director of Donoho’s Jewellers.  “It is magnificent to see how this effort grows each year!” Donoho’s Jewellers has been a continuous sponsor of The Woodlands Winter Wonderland which features illuminated holiday scenes and storybook displays surrounding The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center during the holiday season.
