Free Concert Series, “Live at Night,” Returns This Spring to Waterway Square in The Woodlands

Live at Night 2012 - Crowd and StageTHE WOODLANDS, TX – The popular concert series “Live at Night” returns this Spring to Waterway Square in The Woodlands with live outdoor music every Saturday, March 1 – April 26, 2014, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

All ages are welcome at this free, family-friendly event which showcases the talents of local artists performing everyone’s favorite jazz, acoustic, classic rock and pop music sounds.  Picnics, lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are welcome.

The spring edition of Live at Night starts March 1 with the pop and rock sounds of David Dunn followed by the variety tunes of Fidelity Maxx on March 8.  The remainder of the spring music series includes the Platinum Players Zydeco Band on March 15; The Level One Band with its soul, disco, classic rock, jazz and pop sounds on March 22; The Marlin Bando Band on March 29; and the acoustic and folk rock sounds of Girl Friday on April 5.

The April 12 edition of Live at Night, BAM! JAM! presented by BAM! (Because Art Matters) and The Woodlands Waterway Council, will feature interactive drum circle stations from bongos to body beats from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.  Performances by the Let Them Drum! All Stars and the Sam Houston State University Steel Drum also are scheduled.

LiveAtNight-CMYKThe music group Jazz Avenue will take the Live at Night stage on April 19 followed by the classic rock sounds of The Guppies Band on April 26.

“Live at Night” is produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau and sponsored by Munday Chevrolet, The Woodlands Development Company and Houston Family Magazine.

Paid covered parking is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage (located at corner of Fountain Plaza & Lake Robbins Drive), the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and the surface parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place. “Live at Night” attendees will also find limited, free curbside parking along Lake Robbins Drive, Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square Place, and Timberloch Place.
