THE WOODLANDS, TX – Interfaith of The Woodlands is collecting school supplies and backpacks through August 15, 2014. Donations can be dropped off at Interfaith of The Woodlands located at 4242 Interfaith Way, or at the Chick-fil-A restaurants located on Lake Woodlands Drive, Sawdust Road, and The Woodlands Mall.

“Interfaith is always so grateful for the support we receive from individuals, civic groups, local businesses and other non-profits which enables us to reach as many children in need as possible” shared Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Supplies being collected include markers, crayons, scissors, glue, pencils, pens, map pencils, copy paper, notebook paper, binders, pocket folders, pencil boxes/bags and backpacks.

“It is truly a wonderful feeling to see so many children excited when they are given the same supplies as their peers along with a new backpack and knowing their first day of school will be a happy one,” Dr. Snyder continued.

The supplies will be distributed at Interfaith of The Woodlands on Friday, August 22 from 9:00am to 1:00pm to students attending CISD schools in South Montgomery County.
