Gone Fishing at Nordstrom in The Woodlands

findfishTHE WOODLANDS, TX – Young artists were recently invited to find their fish at the new Nordstrom location in The Woodlands Mall. The Woodlands Children’s Museum hosted a tile-painting party with an Under the sea theme in April 26 led by professional artist Charlie Bigger.

The 200 fish-shaped tiles they created have been installed in the kid’s wear department in the new Nordstrom store at The Woodlands Mall.

On Saturday, Sept. 6, the retailer held a special event for the children who participated and their families. During a fun morning party, complete with entertainment and treats, the artists were able to see their work on display.

Proceeds from the tile-painting event benefited The Woodlands Children’s Museum, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, empowering and exciting children and their families in lifelong learning and discovery.

The Museum also provides year-round opportunities for children to celebrate and embrace cultural and global differences and strengthen common bonds. Located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, in The Woodlands, 77381, the museum has a full calendar of exciting activities.
