Realtor Glenda Akins Joins RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring Roster of Agents

Glenda Akins photoTHE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Realtor Glenda Akins has joined forces with RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring. Before becoming a Realtor in 2008, Akins worked as a recruiter and executive assistant to the CEO of an engineering firm. She said while she always had an interest in real estate, when her sister got into the business and started selling properties, she thought that was something she could do, too.

Currently pursuing a Graduate Realtor Institute designation, Akins, who believes that choosing the right Realtor does make a difference, said real estate is both her profession and passion. Specializing in guiding clients through the buying and selling experience, she wants first-time homebuyers and experienced homeowners to know they can depend on her expertise to get the most out of the transaction.

Glenda is a wonderful addition to our team, said Danna Furnace-Grimes, director of agent services and relocation director for RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring. As a team player and very driven, she has experience, charm and a deep love of family that will make her an asset to anyone looking for a new home.

Akins and her husband Todd, an assistant professor of anesthesiology at UTHealth Houston and Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, have two daughters going to college in Colorado, a 9-year-old son in elementary school and a 4-year-old daughter who attends The Woodlands Christian Academy.

When not selling real estate, Akin can be found doing almost anything outdoorsy, but often utilizes her membership at Northgate Country Club to play tennis, shoot a round of golf or take advantage of the workout room.

Choosing to join RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring was an easy decision to make, Akins said.

RE/MAX has always been ranked among the best here and in the country, she said while RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring is known as the area’s top producing agency. It’s an honor to be part of this team.
