Dr. Jen Arnold to Speak at Interfaith Community Clinic Spring Event

The Interfaith Community Clinic is excited to announce Dr. Jen Arnold will be the guest speaker at the sold-out, second annual “Women Empowering Women” luncheon to be held from 11:30AM to 1:00 PM at The Woodlands Country Club – Palmer Course on Friday, May 1, 2015. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Interfaith Community Clinic.

Standing at just 3 foot 2, Dr. Arnold has a rare type of dwarfism called Spondyloepiphyseal Dysplasia Type Strudwick, and has undergone more than 30 surgeries. She and her husband Bill, along with their children Will and Zoey are featured on TLC’s docu-drama, The Little Couple, which follows their personal and professional lives and is now in its 7th season. The show has proven to be an invaluable method to break down barriers and educate people around the country about people with disabilities.

“We are absolutely thrilled that Dr. Arnold will be sharing her incredible journey.  We are honored to have her as our special guest for this event which benefits the Interfaith Community Clinic,” said Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of the Interfaith Community Clinic.

The Interfaith Community Clinic opened its doors in 1996 to meet the medical needs of the uninsured population, and in 2010 the clinic joined the Interfaith family of services. Last year, the clinic provided services to more than 7,600 patients throughout Montgomery County. The Interfaith Community Clinic is dedicated to providing quality basic medical and dental care, counseling and patient services to the uninsured. A volunteer staff of licensed physicians, nurses, medical providers, dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, as well as translators and support personnel work together to provide patient care. Programs are provided free of charge and are funded by the generous financial support of grants, faith based organizations, businesses, civic groups, and individuals.
