Century Old Wunsche Brothers Cafe and Saloon Went Up in Flames Early Sunday Morning

Spring, TX –  Wunsche Brothers Café and Saloon in Old Town Spring went up in flames early Sunday morning around 3:30 am. When fire fighters arrived they found heavy flames coming from the newer part of the building. Fire fighters did their best to keep the fire under control and it appears that the flames only destroyed the newer extension, leaving the historic 100 plus year old building with only smoke damage. Fortunately no one was inside of the building when the fire started and there were no injuries.

An investigation is still under way to determine the cause of the fire. We’ll keep you updated as the story continues to unfold.
