We had a friendly and impressive experience at iFly The Woodlands/Oak Ridge North! We’ve shared some photos giving you a teaser of what you’ll experience when visiting iFly. Get the full experience and book a flight for yourself to see what it’s all about! When arriving and going in the building you won’t believe how big the inside is and the great indoor skydiving tunnel that awaits you behind the doors.

The Oak Ridge North tunnel is a new model, with the flight chamber and all other amenities sitting at ground level. The glass flight chamber is 37.5% taller than other iFLY tunnels, sitting at 18 feet tall (5.5 meters), providing an unprecedented flying experience and viewing for non-flyers.

“Anyone from ages 3 – 103 can enjoy indoor skydiving and a kids club will be available soon”, said Jennifer Forrester – Houston Manager. Forrester also informed us that “iFLY Oak Ridge North will offer an accredited STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education program, for grades 2-12, that teaches and educates students to understand gravity, drag and other principles of physics and flight in a fun and interactive environment utilizing a flight experience”

Ali Macdonald – Operations Manager of The Woodlands and Memorial said, “It’s a major confidence booster for kids. Watching kids start from the beginning with a smile on their face, and then seeing that the instructor isn’t holding onto them any longer after a while and then their smile gets even bigger.” “This is one of the many reasons I love being a part of iFly” said Macdonald who has been skydiving for 8 years and tunnel flying just about as long. “It’s an adventure, it’s the thrill of skydiving without the danger of skydiving”

iFly Houston is currently seeking an Operations Manager for their Memorial location so if you are interested in a career opportunity with them please visit their Houston.iFlyWorld.com and apply.
