The Woodlands, TX – According to ABC13 and the Courier of Montgomery County, a woman was found dead at The Woodlands area Sawdust Park and Ride located at 701 Westridge Road.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were investigating her death and the scene to get more details into exactly what happened.

Sgt. Mike Traylor of the MSCO said, “deputies arrived on the scene around 5:07 p.m. to find the woman of about 40 years of age slumped over the wheel of her SUV.”

Traylor also said, “the SUV was running but it was hot inside the vehicle”

The woman identified was Sally Ann Galley, 44. She was found dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Lt. Brady Fitzgerald of the MSCO said, “all signs indicate a suicide and no foul play was indicated.”

“Nothing appeared suspicious,” Fitzgerald said. “Of course, right now it’s a (DOA) investigation, but a gun was on location. Everything appears to be a suicide.”

Law enforcement officials are awaiting an autopsy report to confirm suicide as the cause of death.
