Xcel Realty hosted a stellar fundraising event raising funds for Casa child advocates of Montgomery County.

The event came together Tuesday September 29 at BMW of The Woodlands. The Xcel Realty group is such a talented amazing group of realtors, who not only Xcel at real estate and the housing market but also understand the importance of giving back and being part of a greater cause.

Upon arriving guests were greeted by members of the Xcel Reatly team who included Kelley Hitchens, Amy Lampman, Sarah Pirie, Jaclyn Thivierge and Yalicsa Williams. One raffle ticket was given to each guest arriving that would throughout the night be drawn for special prizes.

Additional raffle tickets were offered after entrance from volunteers of Casa including Mary Fuller of Tetra Technologies, for $20 a piece with proceeds going to Casa and allowing guests to be entered into a special $1,000 grand price gift basket.

DJ Chris B got the party started playing great tunes throughout the evening, while there was an open bar for everyone to get a hold of their favorite beer, wine or cocktails.

Local businesses also had a tremendous presence at the event.

The Refuge Bar and Bistro owned by locals Mark Zientek and Luis Padilla provided delicious food for the event including Spicy Chicken and Mini Beef Wellington’s. I returned to this table many times through the night as I couldn’t help myself.

Local business owner Bobbie Cobb of Massage Heights Panther Creek and Alden Bridge and her friendly crew of spectacular massage therapists were there working miraculous wonders on the guests in the massage chairs, with all tips going to Casa. I spoke with numerous attendees after getting massages, and there was a relaxed calm about them afterwards. Massages really do work wonders. Request a reservation today HERE!
