The final round of preliminaries for the Texas Star: The Woodlands singing competition will take place this Friday, October 30, at Crescent Moon Wine Bar in Spring.

Ten contestants from this round will join the 21 that have already placed in the previous preliminary rounds at the semifinals to be held November 6 at Papa’s Ice House in Spring. The competition is presented by Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands.

Contestants get the chance to compete by singing a song of their choice to a panel of expert and celebrity guest judges and a packed house of cheering audience members. The winners – selected by the judges with a special “wildcard” to be determined by the audience – get the chance to proceed to the next rounds, culminating in the finals round to be held November 20 at Papa’s Ice House.

To enter in the competition, contestants must be residents of Texas, be at least 18 years of age, and pay a registration fee.
