The Hacktivist Collective Group Anonymous have discovered the terrorist group known as ISIS, ISIL or Daesh has planned attacks on Paris, U.S., Indonesia, Italy and Lebanon on Sunday Nov. 22.

The Anonymous campaign OpParisIntel that launched shortly after the devastating attacks in Paris, France that killed over 130 people and injured hundreds more released a statement Saturday saying it had discovered information regarding new terror plots on Paris and the world including the U.S., Indonesia, Italy and Lebanon  scheduled for Sunday Nov. 22.

The hacktivist group warned ISIS may be planning an attack at the WWE Survivor Series event set to take place in the Philips Arena in Atlanta Georgia on Sunday night.

The FBI said it was made aware of the alleged threat and is taking it seriously.

The Washington Times reported the FBI said, “We have… made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe.”

Anonymous said they’d reported the information to official authorities around the world days ago which was first reported and picked up by the International Business Times.

But because they have not done anything with it yet it’s almost the 22nd, we have taken matters into our own hands. We only take the responsibility of warning civilians (in case the authorities do not act well enough)” – Anonymous[/quote]

The list below is not to scare you into not living everyday life, but it’s more to keep everyone aware and vigilant.

Attending events with large crowds, especially church services Anonymous warned against for safety purposes, but they also said, “The risk of any church outside Paris or in France being targeted is low.”

Anonymous published this list discovered of potential targets the extremist group had planned to attack:

  • Cigales Electroniques with Vocodecks, RE-Play and Rawtor at Le Bizen (Paris)
  • Concrete invites Drumcode: Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joel Mull at Concrete (Paris)
  • Demonstration by Collectif du Droit des Femmes (Paris)
  • Feast of Christ the King Celebrations (Rome/Worldwide)
  • Al-Jihad, One Day One Juz (Indonesia)
  • Five Finger Death Punch (Milan)
  • University Pastoral Day (Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon)

In a statement by Anonymous the group said, “The goal is to make sure the whole world, or at least the people going to these events, know that there have been threats and that there is a possibility of an attack to happen. Another goal is to make sure Daesh knows that the world knows and cancels the attacks, which will disorientate them for a while.”

There was an update on the International Business Times article yesterday at 4;45 EST, where they had released a tweet from an Anonymous related news account (@YourAnonNews) with approximately 1.5 Million followers, claiming that it did not know where rumors of the planned attacks originated.

Although this tweet was released, we aren’t exactly sure how closely related the actual hacktivists are with this account, as we know Anonymous is supposed to be just that, “Anonymous” so the owner of this account could be an Anonymous admirer or follower who spreads news by the group which created such a following. By the appearance of the Twitter account most people’s first impression would be that this account is operated by Anonymous, which is why so many people would have followed the Twitter account. We believe it’s important to stay inquisitive.

We at The Woodlands Journal still wanted to make you aware of the story, and will bring you more info as it’s available. Stay vigilant everyone.
