A female was walking along a path near Creekwood Park in The Woodlands Tuesday night December 15, when a man tried to start up a conversation.

She claims she tried to walk away when he grabbed her and pulled her down by the hair and then began assaulting her.

Fortunately the woman was able to fight off her attacker, run home and called police.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in the search for her attacker.

The Male suspect who told the victim his name was Michael, and that he was a freshman at Lone Star Community College was last seen riding a BMX bike according to the victim.

The suspect is described as a clean shaven white male about 6 feet tall who was wearing a black and orange hat, black skinny jeans and a jacket.

Crime Stoppers pays up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment of a felony crime.

Call (7867) or visit the Montgomery County Crime Stoppers website at  www.montgomerycountycrimestoppers.org.

  1. The arrow says “Area where suspect was assaulted”… So it’s basically saying that the suspect was assaulted not the victim… I think what it meant to say was “Area where victim was allegedly assaulted.” Perhaps???

    1. Carrie, you’re right. Thank you for noticing this. I’ll have our infographic designer correct it. Thank you for being a great WJ reader and pointing this out to us.

  2. I don’t like the wording, “she claims she tried to walk away etc” It’s written as if this is a school yard he said she said game. “The victims official report stated that the suspect….etc.?” Maybe. It’s written in a tone that sounds skeptical of her as well. Assaulting and possibly attempting to rape (I assume) a woman is a very serious offense. I’d like for her unfortunate experience be written in a manner that pays her the respect that is due. So many women never report these incidents in fear of the publics criticism, so lets ensure that her story be treated and written in a manner that demands our reverence.

  3. Correction: *I’d like for her unfortunate experience (to) be written in a manner…
