A 14 Year old female was allegedly assaulted by a male suspect while jogging on a greenbelt in the 4700 block of Lake Woodlands drive in The Woodlands.

The assault happened around 4:45 p.m. deputies said the girl told them. She also said the male suspect came up from behind and assaulted her, although she was confused about the event and couldn’t remember all the details about what happened.

There is no evidence of physical assault at this point Deputies said.

Precinct 3 Investigators are working together with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to gather more details and investigating the case.  Authorities are asking anyone with information to call 936-442-7797
