THE WOODLANDS, Texas has moved up Niche’s list of the best cities to live in America. It’s made the list numerous times in the past, but for the first time, The Woodlands holds the No. 1 spot on the list.
The rankings organized by Niche, are generated by parsing through data found from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and sifts through millions of reviews from residents according to ABC13. Niche considers affordability, housing market, neighborhood diversity, public schools, and walkability when determining ranking factors.

On March 15, Niche announced that The Woodlands appears at No. 1 on its 2021 list of the Best Cities to Live in America. The Woodlands ranked second last year, fourth in 2019, and was named the best master planned community in America in 2016.
It’s also worth mentioning the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion has ranked #1 in the world multiple times.
The Woodlands, Texas currently has a population 113,819 and it’s easy to see why so many people love to call it their home.
