Interfaith of The Woodlands “Service of Excellence” Recipients Honored

DSC00293THE WOODLANDS, TX – Five individuals were honored and presented with the 2014 Service of Excellence Award in front of  a capacity audience at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center on Friday, March 7.  Celebrated for their volunteerism during the 10th annual Interfaith of The Woodlands Five Who Share luncheon were Steve Cribari- Education;  Bonnie Schuetz – Fine Arts; Chris Grice- Health; P.K. Smith- Seniors; and Rita Wiltz- Youth.

“The Interfaith Spring Luncheon is a very special celebration,” shared Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “The community really comes together to honor individuals who give so much of their time, to say thank you and applaud them.”

The festive program included comments from the Honorary Chairs, Steve Sanders, CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital, and Debra Sukin, CEO of St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital, CEO of Lakeside Hospital and Senior Vice President of St. Luke’s Health System, and emcee Nelda Luce Blair; a performance by the Oak Ridge High School String Ensemble; and the traditional book presentation where both South County community libraries received a copy of the 2014 “Cultivating a Healthy Life” keepsake book.

The title sponsors of the event were Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Entergy Corporation, George and Dianne Lindahl, and The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
